Compsns. (I) comprise mixt. of: (A) thermoplastic resin matrix and (B) ferromagnetic material as filler. Prepn. of (I) involves mixing (A) and (B). Pref. (A) is polyolefin, partic. low density; medium density polyolefin, partic. linear polyethylene; high density polyethylene; a rubber; a styrene resin; ABS; polyphenylene ether; polycarbonate; polyester; or compatible mixt. of one or more of these; (B) is Fe powder or Cr powder, partic. comprising 5-95 wt.% (I).
