PURPOSE:To cause a piston rod to make a circular motion by a hydraulic pressure or a pneumatic pressure by giving the rod of a piston disposed slidably on a cylinder an adequate curvature which is same as that of the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:In a cylinder tube 1, a head cover 2 is mounted on one end thereof and a rod cover 3 is mounted on the other end thereof. On each cover 2, 3, ports 2a, 3a for a hydraulic or pneumatic pressure are bored. Pistons 5, 5' are disposed slidably within said cylinder tube 1 and a piston rod 4 extending from said pistons 5, 5' penetrates through the rod cover 3. The cylinder tube 1 and said piston rod 4 are arched with the same desired curvature. Thus, by introducing and exhausting hydraulic or pneumatic pressure medium adequately from said ports 2a, 3a, the piston rod 4 carrys out a forward and backward circular motion in the direction of arrows A, B. |
