PURPOSE:To effectively reversibly repeat dense chromism (dense color) and completely colorless state, and to eliminate a decrease in physical properties of a mixture vehicle by incorporating electron donating coloring dyes, electron acceptive developer and specific alcohol acrylonitrile additive. CONSTITUTION:A composition contains electron donating coloring dyes, electron acceptive developer and alcohol acrylonitrile additive represented by a formula, and thermally reversibly discoloring particulate contains the composition. As a desensitizer, alcohol acrylonitrile additive (first desensitizer) of the formula is employed. Even if the mixing amount of the compound is reduced as composed with that of conventional desensitizer, desired desensitizing operation can be performed. In case of manufacture, the composition and thermosetting resin are first heated and uniformly mixed. Then, the mixture is granulated. The surface of the obtained particulate is covered with hydrophilic polymer compound to obtain thermally reversibly coloring particulate. |
