PURPOSE:To estimate the degraded conditions by measuring the internal resistance with frequencies at 100Hz or more and less, and comparing it with the initial value. CONSTITUTION:In an acceleration life test, when the life ends due to the elongation of lattice, the difference between the internal resistance at the initial and that at the end of life is less when it is measured with the frequency at 100Hz or more, but the resistance after the life is high when measured with the frequency at 100 Hz or less. When degradated conditions occur due to the elongation of lattice, the detection of life conditions can be made by measuring the resistance with the frequency at 100Hz or less. Further, when the life ends due to the permeation of moisture, the resistance becomes high at every frequencies. It is thus judged that the conditions occur due to the moisture permeation when the resistance measured at the high frequency is higher than that at the initial, and that the conditions occur due to the elongation of lattice when the resistance measured at the low frequency is larger than that at the initial in the case that the resistance measured at the high frequency does not differ substantially from that at the initial. |
