PURPOSE: To quickly change a tool spindle by movably arranging a locking member of a quickly closing mechanism in one spindle part, engaging the inclined end part of the locking member with a cutout of the other spindle part in a locking position, and forming a structure to push-move the tool side spindle part to a using position. CONSTITUTION: A locking member 7 is mechanically moved to a lock releasing position by supplying a pressure medium to a piston 9 through a pressure medium supply passage 12. In this lock releasing position, the tool side spindle part 3 is removed from a using position together with a grinding tool, a milling cutter and a drill installed on a flange of an interlocking shaft 5 to be changed with another spindle part 3. Next, the two spindle parts 2, 3 are mutually firmly joined by pressing the tool side spindle part 3 in the axial direction by the inclinhed end part 15 by moving this locking member 7 to a locking position. A workpiece is worked by a working tool with high accuracy by rotating a tool spindle 1 at a high speed in this state. |
