PURPOSE:To reduce the whole size of a water quantity control device including a tank, by providing a water quantity memory means to store a water quantity when the water level in the tank reaches a specified level, and controlling the ratio of the opening of a motor- operated valve based on signals transmitted from said water quantity memory means after the initial operation. CONSTITUTION:As an electric control means 12 increase the ratio of the opening of a motor- operated valve 10 by a fixed quantity, water supply from a supply water pipeline is increased. When the water level in a tank 8 reaches a specified water level A, the electric control device 12 operates with a signal transmitted from a water level detecting device 9 and decreases the opening of the motor-driven valve 10 by a certain degree. When the water level in the tank further rises and reaches a specified water level B, the electric control device 12 closes the opening of the motor-driven valve 10 by a specified quantity so that the water level may be lower than the water level B. The water quantity in the tank is stabilized between the water level A and the water level B. In addition, a water quantity memory means 14 stores a water quantity when the water quantity transferred by a pump 11 becomes equal to the quantity of water flowing into the tank, and set the ratio of the opening of the motor-driven valve 10 so that the water may flow into the tank by a quantity stored in the water quantity memory means 14 when it is necessary to repeat the operation, thereby enabling the elimination of a float. |
