PURPOSE:To prevent the stratification of an electrolyte by using a porous body made of mainly a specific quantity of monofilament-shaped fibers and inorganic powder as an electrolyte holder. CONSTITUTION:Monofilament-shaped glass fibers and inorganic silicate powder are put in pure water and stirred and mixed. An adsorbent is put in it to stick the silicate powder to glass fibers, the mixture is formed into a sheet and dried to form a porous body made of power and glass fibers. The weight of monofilament-sheped fibers is set to 45-60wt.% of the total weight. |
