PURPOSE:To obtain a grout having a controllable gelation time and improved penetrability into the ground and homogel strength and giving cemented soil of improved strengths, by mixing an aqueous sodium silicate solution with a specified aqueous suspension. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous sodium silicate solution (A) is obtained by mixing 70-160l, per 400l of an obtainable grout, sodium silicate (e.g., No.3 sodium silicate as specified by JIS K1408) with water (b). Separately, am aqueous suspension (B) is obtained by suspending 20-120kg, per 400l of an obtainable grout, of type III beta anhydrous CaSO4 (c) of a particle diameter <=30mum, lime of a particle diameter <=30mum (e.g., slaked lime) and/or a cement (e.g., portland cement) and, optionally, 0.001-0.002 pt.wt., per pt.wt. component (c), hydroxy carboxylic acid (or alkali metal salt thereof) in component (b). Component (A) is mixed with component (B) to obtain 400l of a grout. |
