<p>PURPOSE:To decrease a difference in temperature between the inside and outside of a filter and to reactivate the filter without breakage by forming a void between the inner peripheral portion of a container and the outer peripheral portion of a filter accommodated in the container and introducing high temperature gas in the void. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus body has plural connecting ports 1, 2 fitted to the midway of an exhaust pipe in a Diesel engine or the like at the time of use. At this time, a burner 3 as a heating device is disposed in the front of the apparatus body. A combustion chamber 8 opposite to the burner 3 is connected to a selector valve 9 and communicated with a filter 12 accommodated in the interior of a container 11 through an elliptical vane 10. A thermal expansion heat-insulating packing 13 is interposed between the container 11 and the filter 12 and a designated void 14 is formed therebetween. The void 14 is communicated with the combustion chamber 8 by a bypass pipe 15. Thus, high temperature gas from the burner 3 is let flow outside the filter 12 to favorably reactive the filter 12.</p> |
