<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the compact constitution by installing two roller pairs for discharging a sheet material and a selecting means for selecting the discharge direction of the sheet material and allowing a selecting means to directly lead the sheet material into each roller pair. CONSTITUTION:The selecting operation of a flapper (selecting means) 29 is carried out by using the paper discharge trays 16a and 16b, and in case of face down, the flapper 20 introduces a sheet material into a discharge roller 15b by the edge part 20b. The edge part 20b is extended towards a driven roller 15b2 from a transport passage formed by the discharge guide member 19 (19a, 19b), and sends the sheet material directly to a discharge roller 15b. In case of face up, similarly the edge part 20a is extended towards a driven roller 15a2 from a transport passage formed by the discharge guide member 19 (19a, 19b), and sends the sheet material directly to a discharge roller 15a. Therefore, a transport passage for the sheet material after fixation can be shortened without using a needless guide member or supporting member.</p> |
