<p>PURPOSE:To produce an electrolytic bath increasing current efficiency in Zn electrolysis by adding a specified amt. of at least one kind of metal selected among Pb, Cd, Tl and Hg to a Zn electrolytic bath for continuous electrolysis contg. Zn and sulfuric acid. CONSTITUTION:0.001-0.1wt.% at least one kind of metal selected among Pb, Cd, Tl and Hg is added to the Zn electrolytic bath for continuous electrolysis contg. Zn and sulfuric acid to obtain the electrolytic bath efficiently inhibiting the generation of hydrogen on a cathode and maintaining about 90-95% current efficiency without increasing bath voltage.</p> |
