PURPOSE:To enhance adhesion between a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer and durability and sensitivity, to lower residual potential, and to obtain a high-quality image free from fog by forming a specified undercoat and the photosensitive layer on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:The undercoat containing a fine electrically conductive powder and an electric charge transfer material and having a film thickness of 5-40mum and an resistivity of 1X10<3>-1X10<8>OMEGA.cm, and the photosensitive layer containing as the charge transfer material, a mixture of a perilene type pigment oriented in the direction different from the surface of the photosensitive layer and cyclodextrine in a weight ratio of 100:0.5-100:80 are laminated on the conductive substrate, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be enhanced in adhesion between the conductive substrate and the photosensitive layer and further in durability and sensitivity, reduced in residual potential, and a fog-free high-quality image to be obtained. |
