<p>PURPOSE:To attain a control to correct the gain characteristic of a speed error signal by obtaining the speed error signal from the output of a switching speed detecting means in accordance with a prescribed double speed and controlling the number of the rotations of a reel motor based on a normalized speed error signal to which the speed error signal is normalized in accordance with its polarity. CONSTITUTION:The title tape speed controller has a speed switching means to switch the speed of tape sent from a supply reel 2 to winding reel 1 by double speed gradation, means 1a and 2a to detect the number of the rotations of the tape reels, a comparing means 7 to obtain the speed error signal in accordance with each set speed, and a normalizing means to obtain the normalized speed error signal to which each speed error signal from the comparing means is normalized in accordance with its polarity. The speed error signal obtained by the difference between a reference speed and a detected speed obtained from the period of the reels is corrected so that the change rate of an error value to the change of the tape speed may become constant, that is, a gain may become constant in accordance with the polarity and the set speed. Thus, the speed can be controlled by the corrected normalized error signal.</p> |
