<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate a handling operation when paper jamming or trouble arises in a carrying loop by providing an illuminating means for illuminating the neighborhood of the carrying loop. CONSTITUTION:The illuminating means 20 has a fluorescent lamp 26 and a switch 28 and this fluorescent lamp 26 is disposed near the carrying loop 19. A projecting part 4a of a front cover 4B is detached from the moving piece 30 of the switch 28 when the front cover 4B is opened in the case of the paper jamming within the carrying loop 19. The moving piece 30 is then pressed to a contact by the recovering force of a compressing spring, by which the switch 28 is turned on and the fluorescent lamp 26 is lighted. Respective paper feed guides 23A, 23B, 23D are thus illuminated. The handling operation when the paper jamming or trouble arises in the carrying loop 19 is thereby facilitated.</p> |
