摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To suppress power consumption through starting resistor, by releasing the connection of starting resistor when the magnitude of field current exceeds over a reference level after regenerative start is performed through insertion of the starting resistor. CONSTITUTION:When accelerator is returned in order to perform regenerative start, output from a mode detector 36 is switched from powering mode to regenerative mode while contactors 16, 22 are connected respectively with contacts 16R, 22R are regenerative side. Furthermore, a transistor 12 is conducted. Consequently, a flipflop 42 is set and a relay 24 is connected to a contact 24R at regenerative side thus connecting a start resistor 50. When the magnitude of field current reaches to a reference value, a comparator 32 resets the flipflop 42 thus connecting the common contact 24C in the relay 24 with a contact 24D at powering side.</p>
