The invention relates to a multi-functional weapon which may be used both as a hand weapon and as a throwing weapon, which may assume the forms of a dagger and a knife for throwing, and which is more particularly intended to be used as a "boot knife" which can be transformed into a "throwing star (death star)". The weapon of the invention comprises a blade 1 and a handle in the extension of the blade, and is characterised in that the handle itself consists of a blade 2, called a secondary blade, protected by a scabbard/grip 6, the said blade 1 in the extension of the handle being called a primary blade, and it furthermore comprises two other blades 3, 4 articulated onto the blade 2 with stop catch mechanisms.
