The improvement consists in applying the lever principle of the first sort, in this case the beam and scales principle in which the actual tool 1, 2, 3, 4 is substantially the balance arm: The length of the balance arm for resistance 3, 4 is less than that of the balance arm for power 1, 2. Moreover, the latter is increased to a maximum. The intrinsic thrust of the rear hand for counterbalancing the weight of the earth is thus reduced to a minimum. The total weight lifted by the front hand is the sum of the weight of the tool and twice the weight of the load of earth. <IMAGE>
