PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized connector preventing an IC card from being broken when it is forcibly inserted into the connector by guiding the hook section of a slider with the guide of a housing and releasing it from the coupling section of a card ejecting cover. CONSTITUTION:When a slider 3 is pushed by an IC card A, the hook section 6 of the slider 3 is coupled and hooked on the coupling section K of the IC card A. When the IC card A is not inserted and the slider 3 is pushed by a pin or a bar out of mischief, for example, a contact 2 is lowered, a hook section 6 is guided by a guide 7 and hooked on the inside. Even if the IC card A is inserted under this condition, it is interrupted by the hook section 6 and can not be inserted further, the IC card contact is not forcibly inserted below the lowered contact, thereby the contact point 2a and the card contact F are prevented from abraded or damaged. |
