<p>PURPOSE:To easily receive a stereoscopic picture by changing the switching period of an optical modulator corresponding to the frequency of a synchronizing signal to arrive in a stereoscopic TV having the optical modulator capable of observing moving image synchronizing to the half period of the synchronizing signal and corresponding to one side eye. CONSTITUTION:When the number of the counts of a counter 3 cleared at every frame and started newly and a control signal stored beforehand into registers 12-15 are judged to be equal in comparators 5-8, a signal to drive a light shutter for driving circuits 9 and 11 is supplied. At present, when the vertical synchronizing signal of 120Hz arrives, the signal is frequency-divided by a frequency- dividing circuit 1, fed back to a stereoscopic video source and supplied to a pulse generating circuit 2. Thus, a coincident signal compared by the comparators 5-8 drives a light shutter with the period of 60Hz of the half of 120Hz. Consequently, by designating a register writing control signal in accordance with incoming vertical synchronizing signal, one stereoscopic TV receiver can receive even the signal of 60Hz or 120Hz.</p> |
