PURPOSE:To decrease a crosstalk between an input and an output by receiving a light beam which has been made incident on an optical fiber, through its optical fiber and an optical propagation path, or receiving a light beam which has been made incident on the optical propagation path, through its optical propagation path and the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:When one or both of a light source and a light receiving part execute a transmission of a light beam between the rotating light source and the light receiving part, an optical fiber 6 is connected to one of two low refractive index parts 2, 4 of a disk 1, and a mode converter M is placed in the vicinity of a connected part of the optical fiber 6 and the disk 1. In this state, a transmission of a signal between two points for rotating relatively is executed by an optical transmission passing through the optical fiber 6, the mode converter M and the disk 1. In such a way, a rotary optical coupler which scarcely generates a crosstalk can be obtained. |
