PURPOSE:To show a stable antistatic effect being hard to increase its resistance value with the passage of time by containing a film stabilizing substance in an antistatic film. CONSTITUTION:An antistatic film 9 formed on the outer surface of a face plate 5 provided with a phosphor screen 8 in the inside by a solution containing alcholate of silicone as a main component is made to contain a film stabilizing substance. The antistatic film 9 formed by using an alcholate solution of silicone partially consists of an SiO2 film having silanol base and this silanol base generates dehydrating condensation reaction with the passage of time for being glassified to lose hydgoscopic action. When this is made to contain a film stabilizing substance 10, a film stabilizing substance 10 exists so as to separate the neighboring silanol base inside the antistatic film 9 to prevent reaction of the silanol base. Thereby, with the passage of time its resistance value becomes hard to be increased so that the stable antistatic effect can be shown. |
