<p>The invention relates to apparatus for bending a flange (4) into engagement with a workpiece (3). A bending tool (5) is mounted on a tool holder (6) connected to a stand (1) by a linkage mechanism (7, 8). The linkage mechanism includes a first link (7) with its ends journalled on a pin (9) on the tool holder (6) and on a fixed pin (10) on the stand (1), and a second link (8) with its ends journalled on a pin (11) on the tool holder (6) and on a pin (12), the position of which in relation to the stand (1) can be adjusted. A first drive member (14, 16) pivots the first link (7) about its fixed pin (10) and a second drive member (18, 20) moves the adjustable pin (12).</p> |
