PURPOSE: To provide a bone cement, making possible to offer a composition of a bone cement showing a higher maximum tensile-deformation by composing so that a liquid component is made from the monomer of an ester acrylate, then a powder component is made from the combination of two or three kinds of specified polymer acrylates. CONSTITUTION: A composition of a bone cement consists a liquid component including the monomer of an ester acrylate and a powder component containing O-Ca 20% of the homopolymer of methyl methacrylate, approximately 30-60% of the stylene-copolymer of the methyl methacrylate and approximately 30-60% of the copolymer of methyl methacrylate and butyl methacrylate based on the weight of the powder component. As an additive component, a radical stabilizer such as hydroquinone and a monomeric accelerator such as N,N- dimethyl paratoluidine may be mixed into the liquid component, and also an opacifier may be mixed into the powder component. Also, the powder component may include approximately 50% of the stylene-copolymer of the methyl methacrylate and approximately 50% of the copolymer of the methyl methacrylate - butyl methacrylate based on the weight of the powder component. |
