<p>A building for housing animals, in particular for fattening pigs, comprises a feed supply system and a liquid manure collector. A row of boxes arranged around at least one vertical centreline constitutes one animal housing unit. Each box is provided with a feeding unit in communication with the feed supply store located in the central service area. Each animal housing unit (2) has an approxiately circular floor surface, and the liquid manure collector has a continuous annular dung channel (9) at the outer end of the boxes (1) connected on the inside to the outwardly sloping floor surface (10) of the boxes (1) and at at least one place located on its edge to a liquid manure collecting ditch (11). The animal housing units (18) are arranged around the centreline (O) along the arc of a circle of uniform radius (R), and each animal housing unit (18) can be connected to a feed distributor (19) which pivots about the centreline (O) and is connected to the outlet pipes of the feed supply reservoir (14). At least one pusher element (33) of the cleaning installation (32) dips into the dung channel (9) and can pivot about the centreline (O).</p> |
