<p>PURPOSE: To inspect the entire circumference of an article at a moving station by turning the article when an engaging means is engaged with the article in conjunction with a carriage at the moving station. CONSTITUTION: A case 20 is engaged, on one side thereof, with four carrying wheels of a carriage assembly 30. A post 36 fixed with two carrying rollers 31, 32 out of four carrying rollers is fixed to an upper bracket 37. A guide rail 42 is pressed against the opposite side of case 20 by means of a spring 44 and thereby the case 20 is clamped. The case 20 is turned clockwise while passing through a moving station as a carriage 30 moves one-dimensionally. Since the width of moving station 65 (i.e., the length of guide rail 42) is set longer than the circumferential length of case 20, entire circumference of the case can be checked by means of an independent apparatus.</p> |
