PURPOSE:To obtain an emphasized picture image by providing a gamma camera equipped with two slant hole collimator parts, a means for scanning an examinee in the body axis direction and an adding circuit for obtained image data to be reconstituted of the whole body. CONSTITUTION:The visual field of a detector 10 is extended by the slant hole collimators 12a and 12b. Such a detector 10 is operated to scan along the whole body of a patient 18, and the parts of the collimators 12a and 12b are separately reconstituted as the whole body image respectively and inputted to memories 22a and 22b. After collecting data, the image data are address-shifted in the slant direction by a shift circuit 24, so as to overlap with the image data to be added up by the adding circuit 26. By this method, the objective whole body tomographic image can be reconstituted, and a cross-sectional part can also be produced by accumulating the data for individual slices into the memories.
