The invention concerns a frame profile (1) with an insert profile (2) the bearing surface (9) of which abuts on the frame profile (1) and having a foot part (12) which engages in a C-shaped longitudinal groove in the frame profile (11). The foot part (12) has an impact surface (13) essentially perpendicular to the bearing surface (9) of the insert profile (2), which rests against a first frame undercut groove-limiting web (10) of the frame profile groove (11). The foot part (12) also has a locking bar (14) which releasably engages, by means of its associated elastic supports (18), the free edge of a second undercut groove-limiting web (16) of the frame profile groove (11). The frame profile (1) is so designed that in order to obviate hindrances to glazing operations, the elastic supports (18) are associated not with the frame profile (1) itself but with its insert profile (2) and when fastened thereto can therefore be easily inserted together with the insert profile (2) in the frame profile (1) or removed therefrom if required. To this end, the elastic supports (18) are inserted in a longitudinal locking groove (17) in the foot part (12) and at least partly surround the insertion ends of the locking bars (14) of the foot part (12), and have flexible tongues (20) of matching shape above the locking bars (14) which when prestressed abut on the free edges (15) of the second undercut groove-limiting web (16). |
