<p>Pharmaceutical compositions, anti-cholesterolic agents and uses are presented for improving the lipoprotein cholesterol profile of a mammal. These compositions, agents and uses are also presented for removing atherosclerotic lesions from a mammal that has such lesions. Such compositions, agents and uses comprise a therapeutic amount of M-CSF and/or IL-3 and/or GM-CSF in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.</p> |
