发明名称 SURFACTANT LEVEL MEASURING METHOD AND APPARATUS
摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain a system in which the interface level of fluid in a rising pipe corresponds to the same level in a vessel by mounting a nuclear level measuring unit on a substantially vertical rising pipe communicating with a sedimentation vessel on the outside thereof. CONSTITUTION: Liquid containing products is introduced, during operation, from an alkylation reaction tube 10 through a conduit 18 into a sedimentation vessel 20. Consequently, the liquid is separated into three identifiable phases including a hydrocarbon vapor phase 48, a hydrocarbon liquid phase 50, and a liquid acid phase 52. When isolation valves 30, 32, 34 are turned to normally open position and valves 36, 38 are turned to normally closed position, the liquid containing products enters from the reaction tube 10 into a rising pipe 22 where it is separated into three identifiable phases. The vapor/liquid interface level between the hydrocarbon vapor phase 48 and hydrocarbon liquid phase 50 in the vessel 20 corresponds to the liquid/liquid interface level between the hydrocarbon liquid phase 50 and liquid acid phase 52 in the pipe 22.
