Sliding thrust bearing

The invention relates to a sliding thrust bearing consisting of two bearing discs in the form of circular rings, between which is arranged a floating sliding disc which is composed of a material with favourable sliding properties in relation to the bearing discs. A bearing unit which is sealed off in itself and relative to the connecting structures and in which the bearing discs are in particular much simpler and cheaper to produce is formed in a simple manner, without additional outlay, if the bearing discs (1, 2) consist of steel sheets and the sliding disc (3) is formed by polymeric material, and if the faces of the bearing discs (1, 2) remote from the sliding disc (3) are supported on supporting rings (4, 5) made from a polymeric material that can be injection-moulded. In this arrangement, an axially extending sealing sleeve (7) is moulded integrally to the outer circumferential surface (6) of one (4) of the supporting rings, this sleeve extending into the region of the other supporting ring (5) and there resting in sliding fashion by means of an integrally formed sealing lip (8) on the outer circumferential surface (9) of the said ring.
