PURPOSE:To provide dried green-peel product which contains a plurality of active ingredient and can be used in medicines, by drying green fruits of citrus fruits with hot air. CONSTITUTION:Citrus fruits, such as HASSAKU, AMANATSU, TANOURA, NATSUDAIDAI, UNSHU oranges in immature are collected, and dried with air at a temperature lower than 50 deg.C, preferably at 30-40 deg.C at a flow rate of 30-40m<3>/min for 30-40hours, as such or after being cut into halves or sliced. The flavor components in the dried product is presumably not only from the essential oil, but also from newly biosynthesized compounds. In addition, the content of flavonoid glycosaccharides as active ingredients is more than 1.4 fold that in the sun-dried product. |
