Vapour separator for a ventilator mill

A ventilator mill having a spiral-shaped housing (4) the radial mill exit (5) of which is adjoined by a transition piece (8) which branches into a dust line (9) and a vapour line (10), is provided with vapour separating elements. The said vapour separator elements comprise a barrier wall (12), barrier strips (14) and vanes (16). The barrier wall (12) is arranged at a distance, which is smaller than the width of the dust line (9), from that wall (11) of the transition piece (8) facing away from the bucket wheel (1) and reaches, with its lower edge, into the mill exit (5). The barrier strips (14) are fastened on the side walls (13) between the barrier wall (12) and that wall (15) of the transition piece (8) facing the bucket wheel (1) and project into the edge region of the transition piece (8). The vanes (16) are arranged in a plurality of levels one above the other in that part of the transition piece (8) facing the bucket wheel (1) and have a flow profile which is curved forwards towards the interior of the transition piece (8). <IMAGE>
