PURPOSE:To prevent flickering caused by rewriting of display data by executing the rewriting of an image memory for storing the display data in a period of non-display, at the time of switching and displaying a selection mode screen on a display. CONSTITUTION:A user interface CPU 05 and a main CPU 06 are connected by a serial communication line and a display 02 is used for a user interface 01 for setting a function selection and an executing condition, the function is divided into plural groups and a selection mode screen is set at every function group, and in accordance with a switching input of a screen from a keyboard 03, the selection mode screen is switched and displayed on the display 02. In this case, rewriting of an image memory 04 for storing this display data is executed in a vertical blanking period and a non-display period of a duplex memory. In such a way, even at the time of rewriting the data which is being displayed, it does not occur that it is varied little by little by taking some time, and flickering can be eliminated. |
