A device for sensing and signalling the removal of a tablet from a blister pack includes an insulating sheet in which holes (20) are provided for each tablet location. Disposed around each hole are a series of electrical contact surfaces (10, 11) which are mutually so connected that each alternate surface is coupled to a first signal conductor (100) and the remainder are coupled to a second signal conductor (110-112). When a tablet is removed from the pack, the thus broken aluminium foil will establish an electric contact between the system of electrodes (10, 11).
