PURPOSE:To reproduce a still picture on a video reproducing screen, by storing temporarily the video signal into a memory after reading and converting it into a digital signal and then reading repetitively the digital signal out of the memory. CONSTITUTION:A floppy disk 1 is turned by one to several times at 1/60sec per revolution or a lower speed, and the FM modulated video signals equivalent to a picture, for example, which are recorded to the disk 1 are read by a reproducing head 2. These video signals are properly amplified and demodulated by a wave detecting circuit 3 whan necessary to obtain video signals, These video signals are amplified 4 and then A/D-converted by an A/D converter to be stored in a memory 6. Then the digital video signal stored in the memory 6 is D/A- converted 7 and then amplified 8. The amplified video signal is furthermore converted into a desired TV signal, e.g., an NTSC signal through a processing circuit 9. At the same time, the video signal is delivered 10 after an AM modulation given by using the frequency of an idle channel of a TV of VHF, etc. to a carrier wave. This output signal is supplied to a video input terminal of the TV. Then a static picture is reproduced on a screen. |
