In order to ensure sufficient, good ventilation of an associated roof, a plain tile/ridge connection ventilating panel exhibits, on its upper side, a head hollow (1) which runs over its width, is delimited by an upper and a central transverse rib (3, 4) and has a planar base (2). Arranged in the head hollow (1) are webs (7) which stand freely on all sides on the base (2) of said hollow and have an alternating oblique positioning with respect to the transverse axis of the panel and are of a height which is smaller than that of the transverse ribs (3, 4), and the central transverse rib (4) terminates, towards the panel-foot edge (5), in a concave top surface (6) which gradually becomes flatter. <IMAGE>
