PURPOSE:A refrigerant capable of removing a bad influence of contained water on air-conditioning or refrigerating equipment, which is prepd. by adding ethylene oxide and benzothiazole to Flon R-12. CONSTITUTION:To 100pts.wt. Flon R-12 are added 1-50pts.wt. ethylene oxide and 0.002-10pts.wt. benzothiazole. EFFECT:No drying agents are necessitated in a receiver and it is possible to make air-conditioning equipment for an automobile lighter and less expensive, because it is possible to prevent freezing of water or corrosion of metal due to water contained in the refrigerant. |
