PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance, periodic inspection and exchange work of a cleaner element by constituting an air cleaner providing in its main unit case a cleaner cap being able to be opened and closed from the rear of a car body and exposing the above cleaner cap behind the car body. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner 12 removably contains a cleaner element 19 in a main unit case 18 while coats an opening 20, formed in the rear part of the main unit case 18, removably with a cleaner cap 21. The element 19 in the inside can be brought in and out through this opening 20. The cleaner cap 21 is provided with an engaging recessed part 22, protrusion-recess engaged with an opening peripheral edge of the main unit case 18, along the peripheral edge while integrally forming two stopper pieces 23 in the bottom part of the cap 21, and this stopper piece 23 is removably hooked into an engaging hole 24 formed in the rear end bottom part of the main unit case 18, forming a stopper device 25 of the cap 21. The cap 21 stops its upper part by clip springs 26, 26 provided in two parts. The springs 26, 26 are turnably mounted to a side of the cap 21. |
