In einem Verfahren zur Instandsetzung von in ihrer Tragfähigkeit bedrohten, beschliefbaren oder begehbaren Straßenkanälen beliebigen Querschnitts wird in den schadhaften Kanal eine dichte Innenschalung eingesetzt und über in der Schalungswand angeordnete, mittels Druckschlauch an eine Misch- und Pumpanlage bzw. Abflußleitungen zur Abfuhr von Spülgut angeschlossene Einsätze wird der schadhafte Altbestand einschließlich der organischen Verunreinigungen mit Hilfe von Schneidstrahlen aus Wasser oder Suspension gelöst und/oder entfernt und der dadurch entstehende oder schon vorhandene Hohlraum wird mit Suspension ausgefüllt und verfestigt. Der Abtrag von Kanalwandteilen und umhüllendem Boden erfolgt mit einem hochgespannten Schneidstrahl aus in der Schalungswand angeordneten, vorzugsweise drehbaren Düseneinsätzen bzw. aus einem radial gelagerten Bohrgestänge durch in der Schalung vorbereitete Öffnungen.
