PURPOSE: To shorten engaging time between a ram and a holding cylinder and to improve efficiency of press work by constituting a braking means of a ram of a hydraulic press of an equipment with which a formed FRP body is pressed of at least two opposed holding cylinders which are applied with parallel motion control. CONSTITUTION: In a hydraulic pressing device of a formed FRP body, a ram is loaded on a plurality of hydraulic opposed holding cylinders 2 which are applied with parallel motion control, and a coil compression spring 16 which acts through a throttling over a specified travel and is reconstructible, an annular cylinder 7 which is fixed on a piston 1 of the opposed holding cylinder 2, and a shock absorbing device consisting of a buffering piston 9 which is movable between the piston 1 and a stopper 8 of the cylinder 7 are attached between the ram and each holding cylinder 2. The ram and the opposed holding cylinder is rapidly engaged each other, noise during engaging is low, and the operation rate of the pressing device is improved.
