In the ball joint, which is designed such that it can be dismantled, for motor vehicles, the joint shell (8), which holds the joint ball (6), is inserted in the housing (7) and consists of elastic material, is held under pretension by a sealing disc (1) on the open side of the housing opposite to the joint hinge pin on the joint ball (6), which sealing disc (1) is supported against a securing ring (2), inserted in an inner annular slot of the housing (7), the open side of the housing being sealed by a cover (3) consisting of a solid material. This cover (3) is inserted loosely in the housing (7), outside the securing ring (2), and is held by a cap (4) which grips over the edge of the housing, is attached thereto and consists of an elastic material. |
