CONSTITUTION:If the output voltage V1 of a power source 1 is normal, a voltage detector 4 shifts a switch 5 to its contact 5a to supply power from a power source 1 to a load 10, and batteries 2, 3 are charged by voltages V2, V3. On the other hand, if the output voltage of the power source 1 becomes a predetermined value or lower, the detector 4 shifts the switch 5 to its contact 5b Then, the batteries 2, 3 are connected in series to supply power to the load 10 through a diode 12. In this case, the batteries 2, 3 output voltages V2', V3' lower than the voltages V2, V3, V2'+V3' is of a voltage VL required for the load 10 to supplement the voltage drop, thereby providing effective back-up. |
