<p>PURPOSE:To perform efficient desulfurization of exhaust gas by feeding a discharged product generated after absorbing the exhaust gas from an absorption tower to a substitution tank, where an absorbent and CaSO3 are generated, by adding CaCO3 to the substitution tank, reutilizing the absorbent and recovering CaSO4 by oxidizing CaSO3. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas is desulfurized in an absorption tower 2 after adding, for example, Na2CO3 from an absorbent feeding line 6. A discharged product generated after absorption reaction is fed to a circulation tank 5 and circulated, but a part of the discharged product is fed to a substitution tank 9, where CaCO3 is fed from a substituting material feeding line 10 and Na2CO3 and CaSO3 are generated by a substitution reaction. Said Na2CO3 and CaSO3 are separated in a thickener 12, and Na2CO3 is returned to the circulation tank and CaSO3 is fed to an oxidation tower 15, where CaSO3 is oxidized to CaSO4, and withdrawn from a bottom of a thickener 18 through a filter 21.</p> |
