PURPOSE:To facilitate improvements in a deep notch and cutting speed and a reduction in chips, by a method wherein a ring forming a cutting edge is supported turnably by a guide wheel provided on the external circumference of a frame and a driving part such as a bevel gear is arranged on one side of the ring. CONSTITUTION:When a bevel gear 9 is turned by a motor, a ring 3 to which a gear 10, with which the bevel gear 9 gears, is provided is turned under a state where it is supported by a guide wheel 5 of a frame 2 arranged on the inside of the ring 3 and cogs on the external circumference of the ring 3 are turned. When a rotating ring 3 is pressed away to a work to be cut by pressing the frame 2 downward, the work to be cut is cut off with the cogs of the ring 3; but since a driving member such as the motor is provided on the upper part of the ring 3 and the central part of the ring 3 is free from a projection, the ring 3 is insertable deeply into the work to be cut. Then although the driving member such as the motor is arranged on one side of a ring saw, the projection disappears from the opposite side; therefore, the work to be cut can be cut off by moving the ring saw along a side of a wall. |
