The method for grinding a frame cover of an ornamental spectacles comprises grinding a cover (3) removed of its burr (7) with a set of plates (1,2) for grinding, and then finish-grinding the cover (3) with a barrel grinding unit. And the set of plate (1,2) includes an upper plate (1) having a bottom face with a projection portion (4) which is in the shape of the cover (3), and a lower plate (2) having a top face with a recessed portion (5) at one side of which an opening (6) is formed.
