PURPOSE:To make it possible to keep the ambient temperature of a heating cylinder constant by a method wherein a cover, which covers over the domain ranging from a fixed platen to at least the tip part of the heating cylinder, is provided and a temperature controlling mechanism to control the temperature in the cover is provided in the cover. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature in a cover 21 is not higher than the predetermined one, a solenoid valve 30 is put into closed state by the command of a temperature controlling meter 32, resulting in heating the air, which is delivered from a blower 23, at an air heating chamber 26 so as to send it through a pipe line 24 in the cover 21. The heated air flows from the basic end side to the tip side of a heating cylinder 15 so as to gradually raise the temperature in the cover. Further, when the temperature in the cover becomes higher than the predetermined one, the cool outside air flows through a pipe line 29 and gradually enters the suction port of the blower 23 and flows from the blower 23 through the pipe line 24 in the cover 21. As a result, the low temperature air flows from the basic end side to the tip side of the heating cylinder 15, resulting in gradually lowering the temperature in the cover 21. |
