PURPOSE:To extend the life of a printing head resulting in the extension of the life of an abrasion preventive film, in the printing head having the abrasion preventive film between the contact/separation surfaces of the armature and yoke thereof, by using a thin metal plate and a polyester film as the abrasion preventive film. CONSTITUTION:A film wherein a thin metal plate 15 and a polyester film 16 are superposed as lower and upper layers one upon another is inserted between the contact/separation surface of a yoke 7 and that of an armature 10 as an abrasion preventive film. If necessary, when a current is supplied to a coil 9 through a substrate 8, the magnetic force of a permanent magnet 5 is negated by the magnetic flux generated by the coil 9 and the armature 10 separates from the yoke 7 by the energy stored in the armature 10 itself to move the printing wire 11 connected to the free end of the armature 10. Thereafter, the current to the coil 9 is cut to negate magnetic flux. By this method, the armature 10 is brought into contact with the coil 9, Permalloy 15 and the polyester film 16 by the generated magnetic force of the permanent magnet 5. At the time of printing, this operation is repeated many times. |
