MANUFACTURE OF MOLDING COMPOUND FOR PLASTIC MAGNET

PURPOSE:To obtain a plastic magnet uniform in characteristics by a method wherein a material in a solution state which lowers melt viscosity is loaded in molding compound in a pellet state. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic powder processed by silane coupling agent is mixed with polyamide resin to be kneaded into molding compound in a pellet state. A material which lowers melt viscosity at the time of molding is applied in a solution state uniformly on the surface of a pellet. This realizes good smoothness in a mold at the time of molding, resulting in improvement of moldability and magnetic orientation of the magnetic powder so that a component good in mechanical characteristics can be obtained.
