PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a primary coil on the body side, by arranging a thrust linear motor in one dimension on a vehicle and a lifting/lowering primary coil only at the part of a lifting/lowering path. CONSTITUTION:A secondary conductor D1 is fixed to the bottom wall section of a moving body guide A along the longitudinal direction of a moving path, and a lifting/lowering primary coil C2 is fixed to the lateral inner wall section at the opposite side from a feeder rail 2 at the lifting/lowering path section A2. A vehicle side primary coil C1 is arranged on the underside face of a body 4, and a secondary conductor D2 for the lifting/lowering primary coil C2 is arranged at the other lateral side of the body 4. Speed control is made through power conduction control for the primary thrust coil C1, and the power to be fed to the lifting/lowering primary coil C2 can be set to a value for reducing the load of the thrust primary coil C1 corresponding to the weight of a moving body V. |
