<p>Metal phthalocyanine derivs. of formula (I) and their tautomers and salts are new. In (I), Pc is phthalocyanine, M is Co, Cu or Ni; each R1 and R2 is independently H or 1-6C alkyl, each R3 is independently H, 1-4C alkyl or 2-4C hydroxyalkyl; eachR4 is independently H, halogen, OH, 1-4C alkoxy, 1-4C alkyl, COOH or SO3H; R5 is halogen, NH2 or an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, aromatic or heterocyclic amino gp.; n is 0 or 1, R6 is H, CN, CONH2 or Q(+)A(-), Q is R3-substd. 1-pyridinio; A is a non-chromophoric anion; R7 is H, 1-4C alkyl, 5-6C cycloalkyl, phenyl, benzyl, phenethyl or COOH; W is 2-6C alkylene (opt. interrupted by O, NR3 or NR3-Q1-NR3), 3-6C monohydroxyalkylene, Ar, A1-Ar, Ar-A1 or A2-Q1-Ar1; or WNR3 is A2-Q3; Q1 is 4-R5-1,3,5-triazine-2,6-diyl; Ar is phenylene; A1 is 1-4C alkylene; A2 is 2-4C alkylene; Ar1 is phenylene or monosulphophenylene; Q3 is piperazine-1,4-diyl; Y is a fibre-reactive gp.; a is 1-3; b is 0-2; c is 1-2; a+b+c is up to 4.</p> |
